Miami Beach Condos

Why do so many people forego a conventional home for a South Florida condo near the waterfront?  For one, the dramatically affordable prices allow people with modest incomes the luxury of living in an otherwise expensive neighborhood.

The problem with navigating the murky waters of finding your idyllic condo unit is that there’s just such a ridiculously astounding amount.  How does one go about knowing which is better than other?  Take these few primers into account the next time you find yourself looking for a Miami Beach condo or something elsewhere.

Find a condo you agree with.  So you and your poodle named Princess want to live in that irresistible luxury condominium in downtown Miami.  This would be a simple process if the condo association actually allowed pets.  The potential downside of a condo is they each have a board that determines what residents can and can’t do.  Therefore, you should make sure the one you’re interested in is one you don’t have any personal issues with.

Amenities are your friends.  The great advantage of living in a condo is you get great perks that are often a luxury in traditional homes like large swimming pools.  Every building differs in the features they offer and some may sound more appealing than others.  Try comparing condo A with condo B and see if perhaps that movie theater on the premises outweighs the other that is similarly priced.

Where will you keep your BMW?  Like amenities, parking options vary.  Most condominiums have multilevel parking garages but not all of them come with the added comfort of knowing someone is actually monitoring who comes in and out of them.  If you have a significant other, perhaps you might appreciate having more than one reserved parking space.

Enjoy the neighborhood.  Miami Beach is wonderful, but it’s not universal.  If you’ve got kids, you might want to consider something less shall we say, venial.  When you step out onto your balcony, you want to get a sense of fulfillment, not suddenly feel like scoffing at your immediate surroundings.
